Today's machine and tool
industry requires state-of-the-art design and manufacture techniques, an
undying commitment to quality and an understanding of the customer and
their needs.
Professional
Machine & Tool,
a family owned and operated business, is today's machine and tool industry.
Since founding the company in 1987, Jim Johnson has successfully combined
hands-on customer relations with the most sophisticated computer-aided
design and manufacturing equipment available.
Employing CAD/CAM design,
Professional Machine & Tool can produce complex, fully-detailed designs
quickly and precisely. Since the CAD/CAM data is used throughout the
manufacturing process, all tooling components are produced with perfect
accuracy. Replacement components are also produced in far less time than
with traditional design methods. Our staff is dedicated to cost-effective
quality from start to finish.
What are the benefits to
you? Professional Machine and Tool's services provide you with complex
tooling in less time, saving your company money and down-time. It's what

Our Goal: When we are awarded a job from our
customer our goal is to become a part of the solution and not a part of the
problem.
Each die that we build begins with a
design that maximizes the control of the strip insuring the best possible
dimensional control of the part. All designs are created with correct
geometry and are downloaded to our NT server for use by the CNC mills and
Wire machines. All details of your die are interchangeable; with all dowel
holes either wire burnt or jig ground. All die sets are jig bored on the
CNC mills (top and bottom shoe) to insure replacement capabilities for all
details.
Each die, as the design is
completed, is routed by operation through the shop. This means that many
people on all shifts will be producing the details for your die. As they
are completed, the details flow to a coordinating diemaker who assembles
your die and completes the runoff and necessary quality checks to insure a
timely delivery.
The final phase of your die
build includes a die check list that is filled out by the coordinating
diemaker and an update of all drawings to insure
that you receive the correct geometry.
At Professional Machine & Tool we've developed a
check sheet
to guarantee quality
production for all of our new dies.

sheet, click here.
